Expanding prevention, intervention, and treatment for youth and families in Cass County

Cass County, IN — 4C Health is proud to celebrate two years of success through the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Grant, funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). This initiative has strengthened prevention, intervention, and treatment efforts for youth and their families across Cass County, creating a measurable, lasting impact in the community.

Over the past two years, the grant has enabled 4C Health to expand its reach and deepen its commitment to behavioral health education and access. A total of 195 staff members have been trained across six different evidence-based curriculums, equipping them with the tools to better identify, address, and support the behavioral health needs of local youth. These efforts have directly impacted 2,041 young people in Cass County.

Beyond training and treatment, the HRSA grant has also supported community engagement and outreach, fostering stronger connections between 4C Health and the residents it serves. Staff have provided 1,134 hours of community outreach, and over 7,200 individuals have participated in community events focused on mental health education, prevention resources, and awareness.

“This grant has made a tremendous difference in how our organization and community approach youth mental health,” said Lisa Willis-Gidley, Chief Revenue Officer of 4C Health. “By investing in training, education, and outreach, we’re building a foundation of understanding, compassion, and early intervention for Cass County’s youth and families.”

The HRSA Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Grant underscores 4C Health’s mission to elevate health and well-being through accessible, evidence-based care. Through this continued effort, 4C Health remains committed to ensuring every child and adolescent in Cass County has the opportunity to thrive emotionally, mentally, and socially.
