Tony C. Sherwood

Tony C. Sherwood, Sr., 60 of Logansport passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at home.

Born on October 12, 1965 in Logansport, he was the son of Robert Sherwood and Evelyn Nethercutt.

Tony owned and operated Sherwood’s Tree Service in Logansport. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and all things regarding work.

Tony was raised to work hard at the young age of 14- mastering the art of cutting trees. His love for machinery and cars blossomed into his legacy he still has today. He taught himself how to do tree work and anything mechanical. Tony made sure to tear things apart just to see what made it go tick. He made sure to teach and share the knowledge to his two sons, who he adored more than anything and through them will carry on his legacy.

Survivors include his sons, Christopher Sherwood and Tony Sherwood, Jr., mother, Evelyn Downs, sister, Tammy Williams, brothers, Robert Sherwood and Richard Sherwood and grandchildren, Tony Sherwood, III, Kyle Sherwood and Kalin James Sherwood.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sherwood.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Moose in Logansport on November 8th, 2025 from 1-4:00 p.m.
