Mildred “Millie” Ann Graybeal

Mildred “Millie” Ann Graybeal, 89, of Logansport, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born March 5, 1936, in LaFountain, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Selman and Florence (Patton) Stineman.

In October of 1988. in Logansport, Millie was married to William S. Graybeal. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2006.

Millie was a faithful member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

She retired from Hook’s Pharmacy, where she had been employed for several years. 

Mildred was a familiar face at The Golf Club. At home, she found joy baking and tending to her yard. She was also a devoted member of the Cass County Extension Homemakers and the Cooking Club of America.

Surviving is her daughter, Zenobia Sutton; stepchildren, Linda (Larry) Graybeal Moore, Bill (Jackie) Graybeal and Michael (Ginny) Graybeal; sisters, Rosalyn Peterson and Doreen Pettit; two grandchildren, Jacob Sutton and Danyel Sprow; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Tamara Ulery, and one brother, Teddy Stineman.

Visitation will be held from 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, in Fisher Funeral Chapel, with a funeral celebrating Millie’s life beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Thomas Mechling officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
