Logansport Savings Bank announces executive leadership promotions

Logansport Savings Bank (LSB) is pleased to announce the promotion of Rex Betzner to Executive Vice-President, Chief Lending Officer, and the promotion of Jeromie Wright to Executive Vice-President, Chief Banking and Credit Officer. These promotions strategically align responsibilities to ensure preparedness and long-term success for Logansport Savings Bank as we continue to grow.
Rex Betzner – Executive Vice-President, Chief Lending Officer
Rex recently celebrated his 20-year anniversary at LSB and has been an instrumental leader on our Lending and Executive teams. While he originally began his career in the mortgage/consumer loan department, he has also grown to become a prominent lender in our commercial loan department as well. Rex’s experience in both the mortgage/consumer and commercial loan departments is a great asset for the bank as we grow our team, with new lenders recently coming on board who can learn from his experience. With Rex’s promotion, he will now be leading the Lending Team, both mortgage/consumer and commercial, as well as treasury management and business development.
Rex graduated from Maconaquah High School in 1997, and then from Indiana University South Bend in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Finance. He also completed the Graduate School of Banking from the University of Wisconsin in 2010. He is a member of the Maconaquah School Corporation School Board and currently resides in Bunker Hill with his wife and 4 kids.
Jeromie Wright – Executive Vice-President and Chief Banking and Credit Officer
Jeromie has been with LSB for 6 years as a key leader on our Lending and Executive teams. He came to LSB with previous banking experience not only on the commercial lending side, but also in retail operations across multiple branch locations. In 2023, Jeromie completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. With Jeromie’s promotion, he will now be leading the Retail Operations team for both the Logansport and Peru branches, as well as the Credit Department with our analyst and processing teams. His strategic oversight of these collaborative teams will help deliver a cohesive customer experience across both branches, as well as in all markets throughout our north-central Indiana service area.
Jeromie graduated from Peru High School in 1997. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision in 2008. He also earned his MBA from Indiana University in 2010. He currently resides in Peru with his wife and 3 kids.
