
Beverly A. (Watson) Seybold

Beverly A. Seybold, age 86, Logansport, passed away peacefully at 5:50 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, in WoodBridge Health Campus.
Born December 29, 1939, in Gary, Indiana, she was the daughter of Walter Watson and Doris Poisel Watson.
She was married to Eugene Seybold, who survives.
In addition to her husband, surviving are a son, Ryan, (Trisha) Seybold; daughter, Danielle “Dani” (Robert) Krahn; grandchildren, Olivia (Will) Tapper, Isaac (Kayleigh) Morris; great grandchildren, Cooper Morris, Marlowe Morris, Curtis Tapper.
Bev is survived by three brothers, Charles “Chuck” Watson, David (Nancy) Watson, Stanley (Robin) Watson; one sister, Gloria Jean (Jim) Grider; and a special niece, Betty Jean (Justin) Army; and many other nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were a son-in-law, C. Allen Morris; brother, Dennis Watson and a sister, Betty Jean Scott.
Beverly had a long and active life. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and long-time member of the Church of Christ at Logansport, where she was the youth ministry volunteer at the church. She was active in Ark Christian Ministries of Converse, Indiana. Bev was a volunteer missionary during several trips, both to Jamaica and Honduras. For a number of years, she was the director of Weekday Religious Education in Cass County.
She had also been employed Four County Counseling Center, Colleen’s Hallmark Shop at the Logansport Mall, and the Girl Scouts of America office in Logansport. Bev taught private piano lessons and often played piano at her church. She was a member of the Mary Dykeman Guild at Logansport Memorial Hospital, working in the hospital gift shop.
In her leisure time she enjoyed all kinds of needlework, sewing, crocheting, knitting, cross-stitching, all of it. Her sewing skills won her a first-place gold medal at the Indiana State Fair for a wedding dress she crafted by hand.
Most importantly, she was a devoted and loving grandmother and great grandmother and was the heart of her entire family.
The funeral is scheduled for 12 noon Wednesday, January 14th, at the Church of Christ at Logansport (2347 Burlington Avenue). Rev. David Welsh, a dear friend of the family, will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday also at the Church
Memorial contributions may be made to Ark Christian Ministries. The funeral home will have envelopes available at the church.
The family wishes to offer a special note of appreciation to the hospice provider, Elara Caring, and the entire staff of WoodBridge Health Campus.
