Eddie Gene Showley, age 84, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Woodbridge Health Campus of Logansport.
Born July 31, 1941, in Rochester, IN, to the late Carl Lester and Margaret A. (Apt) Showley. On July 29, 2000, in Anoka, IN, he married Mary K. Myers (Smith) who survives.
Eddie retired from Kauffman Engineering and had also previously worked at Myers Spring, Pepsi, and Wilson Foods. He was a 1959 graduate of Grass Creek High School and was a member of Anoka Community Church.
Survivors, including his wife Mary, are one son, Michael Showley; stepson, Tracy (Kathy) Myers; stepdaughter, Tammy (Don) Gellinger; two daughters-in-law, Rebecca Myers and Robin Willis; several grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Steve and John Showley; brother, Phillip Joe Showley; sister, Betty Corn; stepdaughter, Tonya Myers; and stepson, Terry Lee Myers.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday January 24, 2026, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Thomas officiating. A burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Eddie may be made to the Anoka Community Church.
