Scott Salmons

Scott Salmons, 62, of Logansport, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Born March 19, 1963, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Calvin and Lahoma (Clay) Salmons.

A 1982 graduate of Logansport High School, Scott spent his whole life on the road as a truck driver. He worked for several companies over the years, including Allied Van Lines, and he took a lot of pride in what he did.

He was a diehard Chicago Bears fan through every season, good or bad. And if he wasn’t watching football, you could usually find him outside. He loved being in the woods, especially once hunting season rolled around.

He is survived by two sons, Brandon Shephard (Delsinia Keesling) and his two daughters, and Calvin (Amber) Salmons and his family; two siblings, Steve (Lori) Salmons and Shannon Salmons; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Jamie.

Services will be private.
