Five students verified as graduates; Logansport High School 2025 graduation rate updated to 91.16%

Following the release of the 2025 Graduation Rates, on January 8, 2026 Logansport High School announced it was working with the Indiana Department of Education to request a formal audit review for five students in the 2025 cohort. Four students were incorrectly listed as “Still in School” despite graduating from LHS, and one student was listed as “Unknown” after transferring to and graduating from The Academy at LCSC. LHS identified documentation discrepancies and requested a review to ensure accurate reporting. At the time, the reported graduation rate was 89.2%, with projections indicating an increase pending verification.
Logansport High School is pleased to announce that all five students from the 2025 graduation cohort who were previously under audit review have been fully verified and confirmed as graduates by the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) Office of Accountability.
Following a comprehensive review process, the IDOE Office of Accountability determined that all submitted documentation for the five students was sufficient and accurate. As a result, each student has been officially reflected as a graduate of the 2025 cohort.
With these corrections, the official 2025 Graduation Rate for Logansport High School is 91.16%.
The IDOE Office of Accountability has indicated that these updates will be reflected in EdData reporting and in the state graduation rate documentation shared with Logansport High School at a later date.
Logansport High School extends its sincere appreciation to Ron Sandlin, Chief Innovation Officer, Jennifer
Alonso, Assistant Director of Accountability, and the entire Office of Accountability for their thorough review, clear communication, and professionalism throughout the audit process.
Logansport High School remains committed to accuracy, transparency, and strong advocacy for its students and families, and appreciates the collaborative partnership with the Indiana Department of Education to ensure student achievements are properly recognized and reported.
