STATEHOUSE – State Sen. Stacey Donato (R-Logansport) welcomed Royal Center resident Alyssa Lantz to the Statehouse to serve as a Senate page.

Lantz, who attends Pioneer Jr/Sr High School, spent the day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and meeting Donato.

“It’s a privilege to welcome students like Alyssa to the Statehouse who are curious about their state government,” Donato said. “The Senate Page Program allows them to experience the legislative process in action, and I encourage all students to take advantage of this opportunity.”

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session.

The 2026 Senate Page program has now ended. Parents interested in learning more about the program should visit www.IndianaSenateRepublicans.com/Page-Program. Applications for the 2027 program will be available at the end of 2026.
