Bridge work to occur on Monticello Rd. over State Road 25 in Logansport from April – October 2026

CASS COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E & B Paving LLC will have road restrictions on Monticello Rd and State Road 25 beginning on or after Monday, April 6 for bridge work.

The eastbound Monticello Rd bridge will be closed to all traffic with a detour in place through the end of July. The detour will follow U.S. 24/35, State Road 25/Burlington Ave, Wolf Rd and Humphrey St. The westbound Monticello Rd. bridge will be closed during a later phase.

Restrictions on State Road 25 will begin with a shoulder closure on the southbound side. Beginning on or around April 27, State Road 25 will be reduced to one lane. Temporary traffic signals will be installed to direct traffic.

This project will be ongoing through early October. Work includes bridge deck overlays and superstructure repairs on the Monticello Rd bridges over State Road 25.

INDOT urges drivers to stay alert near crews and be prepared to wait for the temporary traffic signal. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra time when driving through this area and should slow down and drive distraction-free through all work zones.
