Jean E. Myers

Jean E. Myers, 86, of Logansport, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

Born on April 13, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Jean (Wilson) Crawford.

She married Ronald L. Myers on January 19, 1962. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2010.

Jean devoted her life to caring for her family and others. She had a passion for people, loved serving those around her, and never met a stranger. She was known as a longtime Salvation Army volunteer and enjoyed collecting stuffed bears and Cherished Teddies.

Survivors include her children, Bruce Myers of Texas, George Myers of Texas, Debra Wood of Logansport, and Wendy Phillips of Logansport. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Walter Crawford, Jr., and grandson, Anthony Myers.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2026, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Logansport.
