Judith A. Segraves, 84, of Logansport, Indiana, was peacefully called home on May 20, 2026, surrounded by the comfort of her own home and the love of her family.

Born on October 12, 1941, in Logansport, Judy was the daughter of John J. Dunn and Thelma (Denham) Dunn. She graduated from Logansport High School in 1959 and maintained lifelong friendships with many of her classmates, joyfully attending reunions and gatherings over the years.

Judy married Larry J. Segraves, and together they built a life rooted in faith, family, friendship, and hard work. They raised six children in a home filled with love, laughter, and strong values—principles that Judy carried with her throughout her life.

Judy will be remembered for her spunky personality, infectious laugh, and spirited nature. She had a deep love for sports and was a loyal supporter of Lewis Cass and Indiana University athletics.

She loved cheering on her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and rarely missed a game or special event. Known lovingly as Gigi Judy, she always brought passion, enthusiasm, and plenty of feisty opinions wherever she went- especially at the ball park when a call didn’t go her way.

She also had a flair for fashion and a unique sense of style. Her years spent living and working in Chicago for the railroad helped shape her appreciation for fashion, which she carried proudly throughout her life. Judy delighted in showcasing her latest finds—often from HSN—at family gatherings, always accessorizing with vibrant purses or statement jewelry that reflected her lively personality.

After retiring from the railroad, Judy returned to Logansport, where she embraced a quieter pace of life. She found joy in simple pleasures—morning coffee, crossword puzzles, and time spent traveling to visit her children and grandchildren. Gift-giving was truly her love language, and her family came to cherish the thoughtful treasures she delighted in sharing during holidays and special occasions.

Above all, Judy’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her children: Gregg (Tasha) Segraves of Sparta, TN; Jody (Dan) Hollis of Fishers, IN; Steve Segraves of Lafayette, IN; and Tonya (Bill) Egbula of Simpsonville, SC.

She will be deeply missed by her ten grandchildren: Lynnsey (Eric) Bell, Garrett (Katy) Segraves, Chantz (Laurren) Segraves, Cameron (Annsley) Segraves, Cole Segraves, AdlynDreu Segraves, Riley (Jaylon) Egbula, Devon Egbula, Camille Egbula, and Georgia Egbula; and by her cherished great-grandchildren: Brynnley, Breckyn, Bexley, and Bronson Bell; Bradford (Ford), Ann Marie, and Elaine (Lainey) Segraves; Laurentz and Cane Segraves; and Denvyr Tolbert.

She is also survived by her siblings, Sharon Haynes and John (Mary) Dunn; sisters-in-law, Debbie Segraves and Frankie Dunn; along with several nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Brian and David Segraves; her brother, David Dunn; brothers-in-law, Dave Haynes and Doug Segraves; and sister-in-law, Sharon (Segraves) Pittenger.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Guardian Angel caregivers for their compassion, dedication, and loving support during Judy’s final days.
