Charles “Chuck” Sterrett Adair, 55, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 25, 2026, in his residence.
Chuck was born on March 4, 1971, in Logansport, to Glenn Adair and Jo Ann (Norzinskay) Adair. He graduated from Logansport High School. On June 3, 2006, he married the love of his life, Andrea A. Cline, who preceded him in death on October 12, 2011.
Chuck was a hardworking and talented millwright who started Adair’s Welding and remained passionate about his work for many years. Known for his creativity and ability to fix nearly anything, he spent much of his time in his garage tinkering, repairing equipment, woodworking, and building just about anything he could imagine. He was an exceptional mechanic, and there was rarely anything he could not repair. Above all, he was someone others could depend on — always ready to step in, offer support, and lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.
Chuck was bold, funny, and deeply devoted to his children, who were the center of his world. He loved spending time with them and sharing the things he enjoyed most in life.
He was a proud member of the Tip-Wa Antique Engine and Tractor Club and enjoyed farming, camping, hunting, fishing, and most of all riding motorcycles.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Kirra Ann Adair and Samuel Glenn Adair.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea; his father, Glenn Adair; and his sister, Beth Hook.
In accordance with Chuck’s wishes, no services will be planned.
Gundrum Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
