Ricky Lee Yocum

Ricky Lee Yocum, age 71, of Logansport, passed away Sunday May 31, 2026, at 10:33 am in Community Heart Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born September 12, 1954, in Kokomo, IN to the late Walter R. and Evelyn (Reese) Yocum. On September 19, 1991, in Logansport he married Melissa Kay Putnam who survives.

Ricky retired from Modine Manufacturing in Logansport after over 20 years of service. He enjoyed listening to music, watching TV, fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Melissa “Missy”, two daughters, Angela Christine Yocum and Chelsea Yocum; one son, Daniel (Brandy) Yocum; one sister, Wanda Medbourn; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, John W. Yocum and one sister Lois Hizer.

Per Ricky’s wishes there are no formal services, and a gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
