Cass County Community Foundation announces the Tri Kappa Unrestricted Kindness Fund

The Cass County Community Foundation (CCCF) is proud to announce the creation of a new unrestricted fund, the Tri Kappa Unrestricted Kindness Endowment Fund, supporting the sorority’s long-term commitment to charity, culture, and education in Cass County.

Heather Nacke, Tri Kappa President and Carrie Hayden, Treasurer shared that for over one hundred years, the Logansport Alpha Mu Chapter of Indiana Tri Kappa has always strived to help the community whenever and wherever possible. The opportunity to have the gift matched $2 for $1 by Lilly Endowment’s Phase IX made the decision even more urgent. The fund will support opportunity and competitive grants through the foundation.

Deanna Crispen, CCCF President & CEO said, “Lilly Endowment’s generous $2 for $1 match will help us grow existing unrestricted funds and allow new funds to receive a huge head start.”

Lilly Endowment announced the GIFT Phase IX initiative in October 2025. Through the Phase IX program, gifts to the Cass County Community Foundation unrestricted funds may qualify for $2 for $1 match. The match runs through June 30, 2030, or until funds are exhausted.
