Jane Ann Carbaugh, 76, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Born November 12, 1949, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Wayne Arthur and Joan (Wirth) DeHaven.

On April 11, 1970, in Logansport, she was married to Charles L. “Chuck” Carbaugh, who survives.

Jane was a proud graduate of Logansport High School. She spent her career caring for others as a dedicated CNA at Miller’s Merry Manor for 25 plus years and never missed a day.

She found joy in the simple things that made life feel full, tending to her garden, loving on her cats, and spending time on the golf course. Bowling was her lifelong passion. She and her husband spent more than 50 years bowling in the Sunday night mixed doubles league, rarely missing a week and building friendships that grew into family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Charles L. “Chuck” Carbaugh; daughter, Angela (Ed) Klinkhamer; son, John (Ida) Carbaugh; brother, Stan (Kathy) DeHaven; sister, Nancy DeHaven; brother-in-law, William (Beth) Carbaugh; sisters-in-law, Sharon Carbaugh and Barb Carbaugh; grandchildren, Peyton Klinkhamer, Jordan Carr, Mikyla Timmerman, Garrott Klinkhamer, Kennedy Klinkhamer, Kenny Randolph, Stephen Randolph, Colten Randolph, and Kaitelynn Carbaugh and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Dawn Fisher officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
