Mary Catherine Lovell

Mary Catherine Lovell, age 88, of Logansport and formerly of Anderson, passed away on Friday October 14, 2016 at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born October 16, 1927 in Tipton, IN to the late Alva and Luella Tomlinson. Her first marriage was to Paul Howerton Sr. who preceded in death. Her second marriage was to Lewis “Knute” Lovell who also preceded in death.

Mary was a homemaker and had also formerly worked at J.C. Penney.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Lavona J. Howerton, Logansport; one grandson, Lucas G. Howerton, Logansport; several nieces and nephews.

One son, Paul Michael Howerton Jr., one grandson, Cory Michael Howerton, three sisters and five brothers have preceded in death.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday October 18, 2016 in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel at Anderson, IN.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Gundrum Funeral Home in Logansport.
