Cass County Community Foundation
Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program Application Orientation

The Cass County Community Foundation has set orientation dates and times July 21-28, 2025 for the 2026 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program. Students graduating high school in 2026 who wish to apply for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship must attend a mandatory orientation for instructions and application materials. Bring classic stories to life with hands-on STEM challenges! Design a carriage for Cinderella, build a leap bot for Jack, and engineer a safe landing for Humpty Dumpty—all while unlocking new problem-solving skills.

Free Summer Movies

Join Mary Max Cinemas every Wednesday & Thursday morning at 10 a.m. for Free Summer Movies from May 28 – July 31. Titles are at www.marymaxcinemas.com

They’re also collecting can or dry food goods to benefit Emmaus Mission Food Pantry.


Safe Sitter Essentials

The Cass County Health Department will offer Safe Sitter Essentials with CPR on May 24, June 21, July 19 and August 9, 2025. This class is designed to prepare students to be safe at home alone, with siblings, or babysitting. It is filled with fun games, and learning first aid and CPR skills. Lunch is provided and Safe Sitter Back Packs filled with useful tools for babysitting, as well as prizes for the games we play!

Logansport Youth Football

Logansport Youth Football Camp is July 28-31, 2025. This camp will be run by the Logansport High School Football program!! $20 to sign up for a 4 day camp and a camp T-shirt! Youth League Camp will be 5-6 p.m., and Jr. High Camp will be 6:30-7:30 p.m. Register here.

Logansport Youth Football Registration is open! Any student in grades 3-6 for the 25-26 school year are eligible to play! All players must have a sports physical on file with coach at the first practice. Practice start dates and times are TBD. They usually start the last week of July after LHS Camp! Lewis Cass Football, in coordination with the Cass County Youth Football League, is proud to offer tackle football for boys and girls in grades 3-6. Players will be separated by grade level. Your child will learn fundamental football basics, coached by volunteers that focus on player safety, overcoming adversity, and working as a collective team. Each game will be played against an opposing school program from in and around Cass County. All equipment is provided by CCYL and meets all premier safety standards. Flag Football:
Pre-K through 2nd Grade
$50 per player

The Lewis Cass Flag Football Program is for boys and girls in Pre-k through 2nd grade. Games will be played on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings at the Lewis Cass Football Practice Fields.

Parent Meeting and Practice 1 on Aug. 6 at 6 p.m.

Kids Crew Before and After School at the Cass County Family Y

The Cass County Family YMCA Kids Crew is a structured activity period for Students K-6th Grade. Well-trained staff, low student-to-staff ratio, homework assistance, and group activities at the Y makes this an excellent choice for a school year of fun, friends, and experiences! Register at the Y!

LCSC students in grades K-6 will be bused to and from the school.

Free Summer Memberships for middle school students at the Cass County Family Y

The Cass County Family YMCA and United Way of Cass County are offering middle school students (5th-8th grade) FREE memberships to support and encourage youths to live healthy lifestyles and make responsible choices. Memberships are valid June 2- August 5, 2025. Stop at the front desk for packed. Parent or guardian must be present t time of sign up. Bring school ID, roster or report card to show which grade you are in. Parents complete membership paperwork and sign forms. Student must write a paragraph explaining the meaning of the Y’s four core values: Caring, Honest, Respect and Responsibility (one paragraph for each value).


Confidence Discipline Martial Arts (Ages 3-14)

The Y Tae Kwon Do classes provide a unique and challenging opportunity for individuals to have fun while getting a good physical work-out.

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean Martial Art that promotes a healthy mind and body through vigorous mental and physical exercise. Classes help students develop flexibility, strength and endurance, while also focusing on increasing self-esteem, respect, concentration, and discipline.
This is a weekly program!

Leap into Dance with Hunter and Bailee

Make friends and have fun in dance classes! Cas County Family Y Fall/Winter dance is now taking registrations. Boys and girls from ages 2 and up are welcome.

Classes will be on Thursdays from August 7 to December 18, 2025. Rehearsal on December 16, Recital on December 18.

Summer Reading

Summer Reading at the Logansport-Cass County Public Library is for kids ages 2 to 13.

Registration begins Tuesday, May 27, 2025.  Summer Reading Kick-off will be Monday, June 2 at 2 p.m.

They’ll also be offering an adult summer reading program this year for ages 13 and up!

Swimming lessons

Swimming lessons are held at Muehlhausen Aquatic Center, 721 21st Street starting Tuesday, June 17th through Friday, August 1st, for ages 4-14 years. There are three (3) sessions to choose from and two (2) time slots for each session. Mini and Me, an opportunity for a child, 6 months to 3 years of age and their parent or other responsible adult (18 and up) to learn to swim together, will be held Tuesday, June 10th through Friday, June 13th, and Tuesday, July 15th through Friday, July 18th from 6:15-6:45pm. The cost is $40.

Kids Skate Free

Kids 12 and under skate free on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at Logansport Skate World and Fun Center. $5 entry and $3 rentals for those over 12.

Youth Safe Space Initiative

Every Tuesday from 2-3 p.m. through July 29, 2025 at Riverside Park in Logansport
Free peer and facilitator led group. A safe space for youth to connect and share. Must be no later then 15 mins from the start of the group to participate.
