Logansport Parks Little Tykes Soccer (ages 4-6) – Registration ends May 1, 2026

Get signed up for the Logansport Parks soccer program at Fairview Park.

Wednesdays from May 27 to July 15 at 6 p.m. at Fairview Park.

Logansport Parks Littlest Tykes Baseball (ages 4-5) – Registration ends May 1, 2026

For all kiddos ages 4-5 year old! Come out and learn how to hold a ball, a bat, and be on a team.

Logansport Parks Little Tyke Baseball (ages 6-8) – Registration ends May 1, 2026

Little Tykes Baseball is a fun, introductory program designed to help young players explore the basics of baseball in a relaxed, playful environment. Participants will learn what baseball equipment is, how to safely hold a bat, and practice simple skills like throwing, and hitting off a tee.

This program focuses on having fun and learning. No prior experience needed.

For Ages: 6-8

March 1st and ends on May 1st.

Little Tykes Season is from May 30th to July 18th.

Saturdays at Melbourne Park from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Season costs only $25.
Registration cost covers shirt, and certificate included for every participant.

Biddy Sports at Cass County Family Y- Registration ends May 5, 2026

Biddy sports will be a 6-week program. Sessions will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. This program is designed to teach the basic skills of
soccer, t-ball, and basketball. This league will focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and character development.

Swim Lessons at the Cass County Family Y – May 11 – June 10, 2026

Mondays and Wednesdays
Ages 3-5 years: 5-5:30 p.m.
Ages 6 & up: 5:30-6 p.m.
Class size limit: 10

Each session consists of ten lessons designed
to teach kids water safety skills that help reduce
the risk of drowning and build their skills and
confidence in and around water. A typical
session includes:

  • Exercises to help kids adjust to being in the
    water
  • Instruction in two skill sets kids can use if they
    unexpectedly find themselves in the water:
    Jump, Push, Turn, Grab and Swim, Float, Swim.
  • Underwater exploration
  • Fun activities that reinforce skills

For the FIRST TIME, Logansport Parks is offering FREE swim lessons for kids ages 4-14 thanks to the Cass County Community Foundation!!

Registration opens May 1, 2026.

Here’s what to know:

Ages 4 and up
FREE (no catch!)
Only 35 swimmers per session
Free for one session only
First come first served

We’ve got levels for every swimmer:

Beginner – just getting comfortable
Intermediate – building skills
Advanced – refining strokes & endurance

To make it fair for everyone, each child can sign up for ONE session only

Berry Basketball Academy – starts May 11, 2026

The Berry Basketball Academy is designed to help young players in the Logansport community develop their basketball skills while learning the fundamentals of the game in a fun and positive environment.

The academy will be led by the Logansport High School Boys Basketball coaching staff along with current Logansport High School players.

Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of basketball while introducing young athletes to the culture and standards of the Logansport Boys Basketball program.

Program Details:

2nd–5th Grade Academy
Dates: May 11th, 18th, 26th & June 1st

Time: 5:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
Location: Logansport High School; Berry Bowl LHS Auxiliary Gym

6th–8th Grade Academy
Dates: May 11th, 18th, 26th & June 1st

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.
Location: Logansport High School; Berry Bowl LHS Auxiliary Gym

Players will meet once per week for approximately 75 minutes over a 4-week period.

Each session will include:
• Ball handling development
• Shooting instruction
• Passing and finishing drills
• Competitive games and competitions
• Small-sided game play (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, etc.)

Cost: $40 per player

This academy is open to all boys interested in improving their basketball skills and becoming part of the future of Logansport Basketball.

Boys and Girls Clubs Summer Learning Lab starts June 1, 2026

Looking for a summer experience that blends academic growth with classic camp fun? The FREE five-week Summer Learning Lab is back, and enrollment is now open for our Logansport Community School Corporation site:

Kids will spend their mornings engaging in literacy and math instruction led by certified teachers, ensuring they head back to school in the fall feeling confident and prepared. The afternoons transition into classic, high-energy Boys & Girls Club programming, packed with enrichment activities and field trips that make summer feel like a true adventure.

The program runs from June 1 through July 2, 2026, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and serves rising 1st-rising 8th graders

Breakfast is 8:30 and Lunch is at Noon.

We are proud to offer this experience at no cost to families.

STAND UP Cass County invites you to be heard, share ideas and make change.

This is your chance to stand up & voice opinions, contribute to meaningful conversations in the community, share ideas on how we can reach more youth with our efforts, help us
empower the youth in Cass County!
Ages 12 and up are welcome

2nd Monday every month from 3:45-4:45 p.m. at The Academy


YOUTH SAFE SPACE INITIATIVE

This initiative offers a safe space designed to empower youth by developing protective factors, with a primary focus on social skills development and the prevention of peer pressure and substance use. The group strives to strengthen coping strategies, emotional processing, stress management, and dealing with interpersonal conflicts, among other vital topics.

By fostering a nurturing environment, participants can connect with experienced adult mentors and engage with their peers, sharing experiences, and insights in a safe space. The discussions are adaptable, ensuring they meet the specific needs of each specific group. With a max capacity of 15 participants per session, the program aims to enhance youths’ ability to communicate effectively with peers and adults,
fostering reconnection and promoting healthy interaction and support-seeking behaviors. Facilitated
by a skilled Health Liaison, the group is dedicated to supporting mental health and encouraging youth to
seek and offer support within their community. Once a month the opportunity to connect with community.

Every Monday and Wednesday

Free peer and facilitator led group. A safe space for youth to connect and share. Must be no later
then 15 mins from the start of the group to participate. Will follow the LCSC school calendar, no meetings during vacations, unless otherwise arranged. (Mondays start in Jan 2026)
