Robert L. Bernhardt, 88, of Logansport, passed away on Tuesday November 3, 2015 in Woodbridge Health Campus, Logansport.
Born June 11, 1927 in Logansport Robert was the son to the late Arthur and Pauline M. (Paxson) Bernhardt.
On January 19, 1947 in Walton, IN he married Donna M. Julian who preceded in death on November 29, 2014.
Robert retired from Rockwell International as a receiving clerk after 32 years of service. He is a United States Army Veteran, a member of American Legion Post 60 as well as a member of Clymer’s United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Rick (Brenda) Bernhardt, Logansport; Bob (Bonnie) Bernhardt, Logansport; Dennis (Toni) Bernhardt, Cartersville, GA; two daughters, Pam (Steve) McNary, Rome City, IN; Karen Ward and companion Joe Rose, Logansport, IN; Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn (Robert) Baer, Logansport; Several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 1:00PM at the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Carolyn DeWitt and Envoy Steve McNary officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the time of the services on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Clymer’s United Methodist Church.
