Born October 6, 1931, in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of Julia Jardoun.
On August 9, 1953, she was married to Claude Allen Baker, who preceded her in death on September 4, 2013.
Helen was a 1951 graduate of Cathedral High School in Boston.
She retired from RBM Manufacturing, later Essex Wire.
Helen was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, where she had been a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the All Saints Ladies Society.
She had been a member of the Daughters of Isabella, American Legion Post 60 Auxiliary and Ladies Auxiliary of the former Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are four sons, Robert J. (Diane) Baker, Walton, David Allen (Holli) Baker, Mobile, AL, Stephen Michael (Gina) Baker, Pulaski, IN, and Richard Louis Baker, Logansport; daughter, Mary E. Baker, Logansport; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at All Saints Catholic Church with Fr. Dominic Petan officiating.
Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
