Linda Lou (Lottman) Popson, 71, of Logansport, passed away with her family by her side at 4:32 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Born November 3, 1944, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Sarah Jane (Descans) Lottman. On April 16, 1966 in Logansport, she was married to Andrew Popson, who preceded her in death on November 20, 1993.
Linda was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, where she enjoyed volunteering her time helping with the church laundry, funeral dinners, and in the parish office. She was a member the Ladies Society and also a member of the Preceptor Delta Beta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed bowling, luncheons with her friends, reading, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Linda retired from Logan Internists in 2008, where she was employed in the billing department.
She was a 1962 graduate of Logansport High School.
Surviving are her two sons, Tom (Mary) of Acton, Mass.; John of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Cheryl (Hugh) Gerard of Fort Wayne; Karen (Mike) LeDonne of Logansport; sister, Nancy (Mike) Moore of Lucerne, and six grandchildren, Alex and Nick LeDonne; Kaitlyn, Emily, and Andrew Gerard; and Michael Popson. Surviving also is her beloved cat, Boots.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 24 at All Saints Catholic Church, with Father Dominic Petan officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport. Visitation is from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23 at Gundrum Funeral Home. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
