myersMary L. Myers, 95, of Logansport, passed away Sunday at 12:04 am in her residence.

Born Nov. 27, 1920 in Butler, IN to the late Charles W. and Neva (Davis) McMillin. ON April 14, 1942 in Logansport she married Carl A. “Tweedie” Myers who preceded in death on May 29, 2002.

Mary was the former Co-Owner of Tweedie Electric Motor Service. She was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church and a member of the Elkettes of Lodge #66. She was a 1938 graduate of Logansport High School. She was also a former bookkeeper at Jensen & Jensen Automotive and was a cafeteria aide for the Logansport Community Schools.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Binney, Logansport; Sandra (Robert) Persinger, Logansport; one son, Charles “Mick” Myers, Logansport; one sister, Betty (James) Malott, Logansport; six grandchildren, Mike Binney, WA; Suzanne (Mark) Kesling, Avon; Gretchen Binney, Eaton;  Carl Binney, Logansport; Emily Myers, New York; Chase Myers, Bloomington, six great grandchildren, Avery Barnes, Eaton; Morgan Kesling, Avon; Nathan Kesling, Avon; Joshua Binney, OR; Jessica Binney, TX; Samantha Binney, TX; several nieces and nephews.

One brother, Charles W. McMillin, two sisters, Helen L. Holmes and Patricia J. Jones, preceded in death.

A Celebration of life will be held at 10:30 am Thursday March 10, 2016 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Damon Soper officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be from 5 -7 pm on Wednesday March 9, 2016 at the Gundrum Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
