sisingerJerry L. Sisinger, 77 of McCordsville, formerly of Kewanna, passed away at 7:35 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at his residence.

Born November 14, 1938, he was the son of the late John and Alice (Sawyer) Sisinger.

He married Patricia J. (Butte) Offutt in 1989.

Jerry was a lifelong farmer and he also formerly owned and operated PJS Trucking Co. Most recently he was employed at CFS in Kewanna as a Custom Applicator. He was a long time member of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department and he was a member of the VFW Post #1121 in Kewanna.

Jerry enjoyed wintering in Florida where he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with friends. He was an avid Nascar fan, but his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia J. Sisinger of McCordsville, his children, Lee, Kathleen and Lisa, step son, Dr. Stephen Offutt and his wife, Ashley Offutt of Lynn, IN. He is also survived by several grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by daughter, Judith Sisinger.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 11, 2016 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel with Pastor Todd Wilson officiating.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Citizens IOOF Cemetery in Kewanna.
