yoderJoan “Jo” Yoder, 95, of Logansport, passed away at 1:39 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in Chase Center.

Born  November 3, 1920, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Ethel F. (Wiles) Hudson.

On January 13, 1940, in Kokomo, she was married to Wendell E. “Deac” Yoder.  He preceded her in death on June 28, 2004.

She is survived by three daughters Judith Little and Betty J. Campbell, both of Logansport, and Linda K. Wyman ofPhoenix, Arizona; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas E. Yoder and Larry L. Yoder; two sisters, Sarah Skelly and Ada Keller; one granddaughter, one grandson and one son-in-law.

A funeral service celebrating Jo’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, in Fisher Funeral Chapel.

Burial, at a later date, will be in the Crown Point Cemetery, Kokomo.

Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 14, in the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Guardian Angel Hospice.
