Martha Jean Raber

Martha Jean Raber, age 93, Logansport, passed away at 10:50 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016, at WoodBridge Health Campus.
Born October 18, 1922, in Grass Creek, she was the daughter of Dora Frances and Bessie Eldora Snyder Raber.
Martha retired from Logansport Machine Company and had previously been employed at Courier Express and McTaggart Moving Company.
A graduate of Logansport High School, Martha had been a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. In earlier years she enjoyed bowling with the Logansport Machine Company bowling league.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing traveling, playing BINGO and collecting antiques. Martha loved dogs.
Surviving are sisters-in-law, Jeanne Raber, California, Mary Raber, Logansport; nieces and nephews, Candace Schmidt-Hall and her husband William, Sapphire, NC, Cindy Raber and Danny Raber, both of Logansport, Judy Sollazzo and her husband Bob, California and Sheri Goldman and her husband Don, Arizona; seven great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
Preceding her in death were four brothers, Charles Edgar Raber, Robert Richard Raber, Jerry Lewis Raber James Henry Raber, and a sister, Betty June Schmidt.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19th, and one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Kroeger Funeral Home, with Rev. Damon Soper officiating.
Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Silver Lake, IN.
