Victor M. Willy, Jr.

Victor M. Willy, Jr., 86, Logansport, went home to the Lord at 11:19 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at WoodBridge Health Campus.

Born April 6, 1929, in Logansport, he was the son of Victor M., Sr., and Ethel M. Cunningham Willy.

On June 25, 1949, in St. Joseph’s Church, Logansport, he was married to Mary Lou Wecht, who survives.

Vic was retired from construction, logging and farming. He also built homes and buildings around the area.

A 1947 graduate of New Waverly High School, he was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, William Willy, Tom (Beth) Willy and Steve (Gale) Willy; daughters, Deborah (Joe) James, Susie (P. J.) Jacks and Barbara (Ben) Woolever; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A son, Michael “Mike” Willy, brother, Elton Gene Willy and sister, Nada Herrold, preceded him in death.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Fr. Clayton Thompson officiating.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the Mass, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.,  in the All Saints Parish Hall.

The family requests that casual attire for worn for visitation and the funeral mass.

Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Cass County.
