Sallie E. (Henry) Stephens, 74, of Carmel formerly of Logansport, passed away at 10:35 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation – Bridgewater in Carmel.
Born on January 5, 1942 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Irene (Reardon) Henry, Sr.
Sallie attended All Saints School and graduated from Logansport High School.
She was a secretary for Myers Spring for over 40 years. Sallie also formerly worked at Walden Bookstore at the Logansport Mall. Sallie enjoyed reading, IU basketball, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sons; Scott A. Stephens and wife Megan of Rossville, Todd Stephens and wife Nicola of Carmel, and grandchildren; Derrek Stephens, Chelsea and Brayden LaGoy, and Maddie and Blake Stephens. Sallie was preceded in death by her brothers; Frank Henry, Jr. and Thomas Henry.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rick Marcus officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
