William Robert ‘Bob’ Delp

delpWilliam Robert ‘Bob’ Delp, 62, Logansport, passed away at 6:10 p.m., on Sunday, June 19, 2016, in his residence.
Born in Logansport, on May 4, 1954, he was the son of the late William Jackson ‘Jack’ and Jean E. (Rose) Delp.

On July 21, 1984, in Logansport, he was married to Linda L. DeFord, who survives.

Bob had worked at General Tire and Modine, and was the heart and soul of the Sub Tavern for the past 41 years.
He enjoyed baseball, golf, pool and racing.  His favorite teams were Indiana University, the Chicago White Sox, the Indianapolis Colts, and he enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs with Linda.

Also surviving are children, Robert Delp, Logansport Christopher (Sandy) Delp and Shalina Delp, all of Royal Center, and Jennifer Delp, Logansport; brother, Richard (Bev) Delp, Logansport; grandchildren, Madison Delp, Logansport, MacKenzie Houser and Xeven Clawson, both of Royal Center, Hayden Boucher, Logansport, and Jacob Delp, Idaville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were brothers, Jackie Eugene Delp and Kenneth Lee Delp.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 23, 2016, followed by the service at 7:00 p.m., at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Father Clayton Thompson will officiate the service.

Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, at 10:00 a.m., on Sunday, July 2, 2016.
