Deborah J. Scott, 64, Logansport, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, in St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital.
Born July 23, 1951, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late George Griffith and Mary (Galbath) Griffith DeWitt.
On July 31, 2003, in Logansport, she was married to Dave Scott Sr. who preceded her in death on August 27, 2008.
Deb worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed going to the Eagles and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her loving companion, Jim Gaumer; six children: Faith Archer, Kimberly Burrough (Jason Ohrt), Joseph Archer, Dave Jr. (Elizabeth) Scott, Randy Scott, Daniel (Samantha) Scott and Stephanie (Adrian) Strong; one brother, Brian (Theresa) DeWitt; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death three siblings, Roger, Mary and Georgeanna Griffith; granddaughter Zoey Reames and great-grandson Jaxson Martin.
A funeral service celebrating Deb’s life will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 23 with Jacob Fisher officiating.
A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
