Earth Day Celebration along the Panhandle Pathway

Last Updated on May 4, 2017 by cassnetwork

Some of the Friends of the Panhandle Pathway worked the morning along the side of the trail on Earth Day in Star City, picking up trash and other debris. The weather was cold but pleasant and the morning went quickly for these volunteers.

The Panhandle Pathway is a 22 mile long non-motorized recreation trail stretching between Winamac on the north and Kenneth, approximately ½ mile west of France Park in Cass County on the south.

Anyone interested in helping keep our area’s visionary recreational trail clean and safe should visit panhandlepathway.org. New members are welcomed and encouraged to join.
