Two new deputies join Cass County Sheriff’s Office

On May 13, 2019, Cass County Clerk Beth Liming gave the oath of office to two new deputies of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The newest deputies, Logan Frushour and Tyler Hanna, were surrounded by family, friends and members of the Agency for the event.

Logan Frushour obtained an Associate’s Degree from Ivy Tech Community College and is expected to complete his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Trine University in the fall of 2019. Frushour was employed with Cass/Pulaski Community Corrections prior to joining the sheriff’s office. Frushour, his wife and three children reside in Logansport, IN.

Tyler Hanna attended Ivy Tech Community College and Indiana University of Kokomo to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Hanna was employed at the Logansport Rent-A-Center as a Customer Account Representative. Hanna resides in rural northern Cass County.

The new deputies will begin local training before attending the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy this fall.

“These new employees are a great addition to the men and women who serve the citizens of Cass County,” stated Sheriff Ed Schroder.
