At the midpoint of 2019, Logansport Building Commissioner Wayne Erwin reports a strong increase in new construction in the city.
In his first monthly report since being named commissioner last month, Erwin reported construction totaling $7,951,773 for the first six months of the year. That’s more than double the $3,835,465 mark for the first six months of 2018.
There also has been a slight increase in building permits year to year. Square footage in the projects also is up from 32,998 to 35,143.
