Logansport Farmers’ Market offers fresh produce
Last Updated on July 9, 2019 by cassnetwork
University studies have confirmed that Indiana has very good soil. This is a plus for the local grower. The most obvious example is the abundance of corn and soybean fields in our area. Not as visible are the many small producers that supply you with home-grown produce. This includes vegetables, fruit, eggs, mushrooms, meat, honey, corn, plus a long list of related items. Good soil is the prime ingredient to produce top quality goods.
These great food products are available at farmers’ markets, including the Logansport Farmers’ Market on Fourth and Market streets. You will find an abundance of these home-grown products at this convenient location on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Beginning in July Wednesday hours (3 to 6 p.m.) will be added, offering you fresh produce twice weekly. All produce comes from Cass or adjoining counties.
Enjoy something special for your dinner table from our part of the state. Stop by the Logansport Farmers’ Market to experience the difference that fresh produce makes.
