Logansport, Ind. – Warden Eric Courtney and Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility are proud to announce the donation of $614 to Special Olympics of Indiana.
Students at Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility were able to make the $614 donation by purchasing pizza which provided them with an opportunity to pull a fire truck. Students competed against each other by seeing who could pull the firetruck to the finish line the quickest. Special thanks to the Cass County Fire Department, District 1 who volunteered their time and fire truck for use during this event.
Warden Eric Courtney stated, “We’re always looking for pro-social activities for our students. This was a great opportunity to mix community involvement with a fun activity for the kids.”
