Oct. 18-20, 2019: Halloween things to do in Cass, Carroll, Fulton and Miami Counties
Last Updated on October 18, 2019 by cassnetwork
Halloween is just a couple of weeks away so here are a few things we thought you might want to know this weekend:
???? The U.S. Postal Service has issued Spooky Silhouettes stamps that feature digital illustrations with Halloween motifs rendered as black silhouettes in eerily backlit windows. The images include a cat with an arched back beneath a raven perched on a bare tree branch, all against a yellowish-green background; two ghosts against an orange background; a spider and a web against a red background; and three bats against a purple background. These newly available stamps are Forever stamps, which are always equal in value to the current First-Class Mail 1-ounce price.
???? “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, will air Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC, followed by Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story OF TERROR!” “It’s the Great Pumpkin” will air again Sunday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m., followed by the bonus cartoon, “You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown.”
