Spencer Park closed to vehicle traffic through January 1, 2020

Last Updated on November 23, 2019 by Logansport Parks Department

The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has announced that Spencer Park will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning November 12th for the set-up of Christmas in the Park. Daytime Park users should plan to park their vehicles on the north side of High Street or near the lower pavilion to utilize the park. The Parks Department has requested that all park users please stay away from vehicles and the Christmas décor going up in the Park. It could pose a danger especially to kids playing nearby. We do ask that all walkers please stay on the sidewalk and roadway. The park will remain closed to vehicle traffic, except during operating hours of Christmas In the Park, throughout the holiday season and until the lighting décor has been removed. Christmas in the Park drive thru operating hours are Tuesday – Saturday 6-9 p.m. Sunday nights are a walk thru only night and closed to vehicles. We apologize for any inconvenience. Questions can be directed to the Parks Administrator, Janet Fawley at 574-753-6969 or e-mail at parksadministrator@cityoflogansport.org.
