Alpha Phi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority has generously made a gift to pay the operating expenses of the Cass County Carousel for the THURSDAY and FRIDAY opening after Christmas and will allow all rides to be free.
In announcing the gift, member Deanna Crispen said, “Alpha Phi is one of several local chapters of Beta Sigma Phi, a social and cultural organization, but we also focus on service to the community. The sisters in my chapter believe that this gift is a great way to give many families a fun alternative after the Christmas rush.”
The sorority annually makes and sells cheeseballs to fund various charitable organizations and community needs. The cheeseball project has provided funds to support families in crisis, scholarships, food pantries, Relay for Life, Salvation Army, after proms and other charitable causes.
The Carousel will be open both Thursday, December 26 and Friday, December 27 , 2019 from 1-5 p.m.
