KOKOMO – Whether you’re ready to register for the next class start in March or planning to enroll for summer courses, you’ll be able to get the help you need at Ivy Tech Community College’s next Express Enrollment Day set for Thursday, Feb. 13.
Ivy Tech sites in Kokomo and Logansport are among more than 25 locations across Indiana that will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for express enrollment opportunities. Express Enrollment provides prospective students an easy way to complete outstanding enrollment steps with the assistance of Ivy Tech representatives and to sign up for the next class session that begins March 16.
“For those who are ready to apply or have been admitted to Ivy Tech, this is a great opportunity to get help in completing important enrollment steps while here on campus, especially with the start of eight-week courses on March 16,” said Theresa Murphy, acting vice chancellor for Enrollment Services.
“Ivy Tech’s expanded schedule of eight-week courses offers students more opportunities to start – or resume – their college educations,” said Kates Brommeland, admissions director for Ivy Tech’s Kokomo Service Area. “They can sign up for our March 16 session at our Kokomo and Logansport campuses now – or make significant progress toward starting with the session that begins June 8.”
Brommeland added that many students have had great success in eight-week courses. “The format allows students to concentrate on fewer courses at a time while working to complete certificates and degrees more efficiently,” she said. “Our Express Enrollment Center staff looks forward to sharing information about the eight-week class schedule.”
Students can register for the event at ivytech.edu/expressenrollmentday . Ivy Tech recommends that students come with a government-issued photo identification, 2017 tax information, and SAT/ACT/PSAT scores and/or high school or college transcripts.
