The Logansport Fire Department has been working over the past year with Right to Life of North Central Indiana for the purchase and installation of a baby box to be located at Central Fire Station (630 High St, Logansport, In).
LFD just received word that the box is complete and is ready to be installed. They are arranging an installation date with the installer. It looks as though they are 2-3 weeks out on the install. The construction and install is paid for.
They are now in the process of raising $3,000 in funds to help pay for the installation of the alarm system to be tied in to the dispatch center and Logansport Central Fire Headquarters.
