Given the high volume of comments, inquiries, and interaction with my office involving the proposed Zinc Plant Project, I wanted to make it clear to the citizens of Logansport that my office is not directing or involved in any planning or decision making regarding this issue.

This falls under Cass County jurisdiction, not city jurisdiction. This is not my issue and I am not going to take sides and cause any sort of division during a critical time when we should all be united in the fight against COVID-19. Like so many around our state and our nation, I am completely focused on this global pandemic, and fulfilling the obligations of my office to help keep our citizens safe and informed. I sincerely appreciate the feedback, as it is very important to always know and understand how our citizens are feeling.

There will be a public meeting in the future where any and all questions and concerns may be heard and addressed. Thank you, and God bless.
