Logansport, Ind. – The Courage Award is awarded to members of the team who overcome fears, take risks and go beyond the boundaries to keep the facility a safe place.  These are staff members that show true leadership with making bold decisions and put forth ground-breaking ideas and/or solutions.  They are the staff members that have the courage to step up.  This award was presented to Rebecca Blanton on behalf of Commissioner Carter, Warden Eric Courtney and Staff Development and Training.

“Becky has stepped up to the challenges presented during the pandemic and has taken on additional responsibilities”, said Warden Eric Courtney.  “She has spent countless hours in training  to learn new policies and procedures, and has effectively put the knowledge to practical use.”
