With the Independence Day holiday falling on a Saturday this year, Logansport Memorial Hospital is observing the holiday time off on Friday, July 3. As a reminder, access to Logansport Memorial Hospital will be restricted to only the ER Entrance, as if it were a regular weekend or after-hours. Because most of our staff and physician offices will be closed and observing the holiday on July 3, please plan to use the ER Entrance to come in if you need to be at Logansport Memorial Hospital for any reason.

Express Medical Center will be open for normal business hours on Friday, July 3 from 8:30 a.m. –7 p.m., but will have limited holiday hours on Saturday, July 4 from 10 a.m. –4 p.m. As a reminder, you do not need an appointment for walk-in care or a minor emergency at Express Medical Center.

One new change this year will be the closure of the LMH top-level parking deck on Saturday, July 4. Although many people have used this space in the past to watch the fireworks from Riverside Park, we cannot allow the use of the deck this year due to COVID-19. It would be difficult and challenging to ensure that social distancing can be maintained if the community is allowed to park on the top deck. For this reason, and primarily for your safety as COVID-19 is still an ongoing public health concern, we will be closing the top-level parking deck on Saturday, July 4 at 6 am. It will re-open on Monday, July 6 for employees to use once again.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding. We wish you a safe and happy 4thof July!
