Area residents can vote for local groups in All-America City competition
A local country artist and the Logansport Children’s Choir are among 25 contestants in a national cultural showcase.The Grace Scott Band and the Logansport Children’s Choir are representing Logansport in the event which is part of the Denver-based All-America City Awards. One of the 25 entries will be chosen to receive two round-trip tickets to any destinations served by Southwest Airlines.
Supporters can vote for either local group by clicking on 2020 All-America City Awards Event Platform and typing in LOGANSPORT.
Logansport is among 22 cities named national finalists for the 71st annual All-America City Award. Video performances of the band and choir may be viewed on the Web site. Voting will continue through the end of the awards which will be announced Aug. 19 in Denver.
