The following e-mail was sent by Superintendent Tim Garland on September 14:

I am pleased to announce that with the New USDA waiver option we will be able to offer all students the opportunity to eat free starting Tuesday, September 15. Again, all student Breakfast and Lunches will be free!! No matter what your status is: Paid, Reduced or Free. Lunches are free to all students and do not apply to staff. If you have already paid money into your student’s account the money will stay at the current balance. According to the state, the free lunch account waivers are only available until December 31 of this year or until funds are depleted, whichever comes first. This waiver will not pay for or include Ala Carte choices,  2nd lunches and 2nd entrees. Only the First lunch and First Breakfast is free.

Since this is new we will have to create a time and location for virtual students to pick up their meals. Virtual students will have the opportunity to pick up 5 Lunches and 5 Breakfast meals weekly.
