IMPORTANT REMINDER: The final day for residents to respond to the Census is Wednesday, September 30!
Why is the census important? The census population count determines how many federal representatives Indiana will receive in Congress for the next 10 years, as well as how much federal funding our community will receive for roads, schools, housing and important social programs.
If you haven’t done so already, you can complete the questionnaire sent to you by mail, or you can complete it online at my2020census.gov.
You will need to provide your 12 digit Census ID, which you should have received in the mail along with the paper questionnaire.
Completion of this is incredibly fast and easy!
