The local mural committee who brought artist Anthony Brooks to the Transco Building on 18th Street is holding a contest inviting Cass County residents to help write the story of the characters pictured in the mural.
The committee hopes to motivate and inspire local writers to capture their stories and enhance the mural project’s impact.
Drive by Transco on 18th Street for inspiration and begin your story with this line:
“My adventure began near Logansport, Indiana in the year 1937.”
Stories must be 1500 words or less.
Submissions must be received by Nov. 2, 2020 at vickielebo22@yahoo.com.
Prizes will be awarded to one winner in each age group – (ages 10 to 15 and ages 16 and older.)
