Lewis Cass to hold eLearning Day Friday, Oct. 30, 2020

Last Updated on October 31, 2020 by Lewis Cass Schools

Lewis Cass Schools announced on Monday that they will be holding an eLearning day on Friday, Oct. 30 for pre-K through 12th grade.

In the message, Dr. Tim Garland, superintendent of Lewis Cass Schools, states:

“As we continue to see an increase in COVID cases across the county, state and the United States, we want to perform a test on all of our technology infrastructure and ensure we can meet all of our staff and student needs. All of the teaching staff will be teaching from their classroom on Friday, Oct. 30 and all students are expected to log into each class via google meet and replicate their daily class schedule.

“This is different from our Spring eLearning experiences and is more detailed and expectations are the same as if the student was in the classroom. We do have our Parent Academy https://sites.google.com/sescschools.net/parent-academy/ that can be found on our Lewis Cass Website to help parents with technology questions.

Please be patient with us so that we can better prepare our students and staff for virtual learning.

If you need childcare for this Friday you can call (574-626-3001) the Lewis Cass Early Learning Academy or visit our website for more information (http://ela.lewiscass.net/ ).”
