Here are a few things we thought you might want to know for Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020:

The fall installment of property taxes is due today.

In addition to paying in person in the Cass County Treasurer’s Office at the Cass County Government Building, there are some additional ways to pay, including by mail, if postmarked by November 10 to be considered onl time, using the drop box on Court Street outside the Cass County Government Building, or online, with a small fee, at co.cass.in.us.


Monday’s update from the Indiana State Department of Health included 16 new cases of COVID-19 and 1 new death, for a total of 2,580 cases to date and 27 deaths. Read more here.


Wednesday is Veterans Day. All veterans and active-duty military personnel, and everyone in their vehicle, will be admitted free to DNR state parks, reservoir properties, state forest recreation areas and state off-road vehicle riding areas on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11. More info here.

The Cass County Veterans Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the memorial at 4th and Broadway in Downtown Logansport.

All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV) branches are closed Wednesday, Nov. 11 in observance of the holiday.
