Here are a few things we thought you might want to know for Monday, Nov. 23, 2020.


The Cass County Citizens Coalition was honored over the weekend at the 13th annual Greening the Statehouse event hosted by the Hoosier Environmental Council. The GTS Awards recognize exemplary grassroots leaders and grassroots organizations from across Indiana. Read more here.


As of noon on Sunday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported that 5,040 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 48 from the previous day.

In Cass County, the number of cases reported to date as of noon yesterday was 2,912, with 31 deaths reported to date.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is encouraging people to give yourself some space and #OptOutside at a DNR property this year.

You can “Opt Outside” on Black Friday and get free admission to any DNR property that charges a gate fee on that day.
