Beth Liming was sworn in as Cass County recorder over the weekend.
She was elected by caucus to fulfill the remainder term of Cindy Howard, which runs through 2022. Howard was elected to serve as Cass County treasurer.
Liming’s second term as Cass County clerk ends December 31, 2020.
She will start as recorder on Monday, December 14.
“It’s been an honor to serve as clerk and I look forward to continuing that service as your next Cass County recorder,” Liming said.
Destry Richey was uncontested in the primary and was then elected by caucus on December 11, 2020, to serve her first term as Cass County Clerk.
